New Music Suggestions

So, i mentioned on Facebook that I needed new music recommendations, and boy did the folks come out in droves. Thought I would share the wealth, and point Dogwood readers over there, so you can benefit also.

And of course, more music recommendations welcome in the comments.

    I will forewarn you, I like girly music. But girly music with and edge whenever possible. So I think you should check out Jenny Lewis or Rilo Kiley. Neko Case is a favorite too. And that’s all I can think of at the moment.

    I still need to burn an album by The 88. Kind of Superdrag meets Spacehog. Also, Tilly and The Wall. Bubble Gum pop with tap dancing as a percussion. Haven’t seen that type of percussion since The Mudd Pupps used the stomp board!

    Nikki, I have Rilo Kiley and think Jenny Lewis is so-so. (Not a fan of her voice.) Big fan of Neko Case, though. Am really liking the new album.

    Jason – You definitely owe me an album or two.
